Clarke); title; (2) advertisement; (4) contents; 275; 2 blanks. VII numbered plates (including frontis as Plate I). Some foxing to the frontis and title and a bit to the plates otherwise text is clean and tight. Front pastedown bears the bookplate of Oscar Sutro, prominent California lawyer and Standard Oil executive as well as published Shakespearean scholar (d. 1935), as well as a small Oakland, Ca. vintage bookseller's ticket. Worn about the edges of the leather and at the outer hinges, shallow loss at hear edge of spine and some cracking to the spine strip; all gilt still bright. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
