The "Old Phonograph; While the Old Mill Wheel Keeps Turning; Sixty Cars of Freight; Southern Lullaby, Down in the Hills of Tennessee, etc. Note -- Texan Dalhart started as a classical singer, then In the 1920s and 1930s, he sang on more than 5000 singles (78s) for many labels, employing more than 100 pseudonyms. His 1924 rendition of "Wreck of the Old 97" was the highest-selling single in the first 60 years of recording. This collection contains a Dalhart original, "Wreck of the Circus Train" based on a disaster in Indiana in 1919, but it didn't have the success of Old 97 Uncommon. Amazon has never had it. Condition; Very Good: solid, straight and unmarked. Ships well protected in cardboard.

You Are My Sunshine, My Mary (w Stuart Hamblen), Worried Mind, It Makes No Difference Now, Nobody's Darling But Mine, When It's Round Up Time in Heaven, I Told You So!, Walls of White, etc. The biography page on Davis states that he is Police Commissioner in Shreveport, so this would be done before he became Governor of Louisiana. Scarce. Good plus: rubbed along spine, with surface layer peeling back in places but not split anywhere (and I'd be glad to apply archival mending tape if requested to! - near invisible and protective); solid, clean and unmarked, text block very good.
