Elkhart, Indiana: Miles Laboratories, 1941. Pamphlet. Good. 6 x 9-1/2" stapled color-printed wraps. [34] pages. Wraps soiled and chipped, internal pages age-toned, but a good, sound copy. Standard promotional almanac, pushing "Miles Nervine" for your jumpy nerves, and, notably, Miles Laboratories' "alkaline buffer salts," still on the market today, known as Alka-Seltzer.

Cover photo courtesy of the Alger Gallery, Los Angeles. 5-1/2 x 8-1/2" stapled photo-illustrated wraps printed in black and white, [32] pages plus a bifolio order form on green cardstock stapled in between pp. 16-17. Very slightly age-toned, a trifle rubbed, else fine. The first U.S. pro-gay publication, issued by ONE, Inc., an early gay-rights organization (itself an offshoot of the Mattachine Society), notable for admitting women as well as men into its ranks. The cover story for this issue (teased as "homo beatniks" on the cover itself) was "The Homosexual and the Beat Generation" by Wallace de Ortega Maxey.

The history of Bodley Head publishing company, founded by John Lane, and the authors that were published by Bodley Head. Reproductions of title pages of some of the books published. 364pp.

New York: Star Distributors / Intimate Library, 1971. First Edition. Paperback. Near Fine. 7" x 4-1/2" perfect-bound paperback. A tiny bit of rubbing to the covers, else fine, appearing unread. Bored by small town life, Karen meets Ashley and Libby, and all sorts of sexual high-jinks ensue. 190 pp.

Very good. 10 x 6.5 inches (25.5 x 16.5 cm), purple cloth, with gilt lettering and large gilt illustrations on front and spine. Wear to cloth along pages edges and spine edges. Privately printed volume, limited to 3400 copies, this is #1544. Top edges dyed purple, deckled edges, illustrated endpapers. Preliminary page, frontispiece, and title page have purple illustrations. In back book is "A Cabinet of Unusual Illustrations on Magic Sexualis." Twenty-nine illustrations in purple. No illustrator identified. Some pages are untrimmed, in table of contents and bibliography in back. 274 pp., plus unnumbered illustrated pages.

Savannah, GA: Pigeonhole Press, 1956. First Edition. Boards. Very good./Good +. Ray Lilley. 9 x 6 1/4 inches (23 x 15cm), decorated creamed colored boards, gilt lettering spine, dust jacket has age toning on spine, wear extremities. 54 pp. Laid are: 1) Purchase order for this book from a printing equipment company, dated May 1, 1962. The order is addressed to Pigeonhole Press, Attn: Ray E. Dilley Jr., Prop. 2) Letter from Mr. Dilley with stamp: "REC'D May 26, 1962." The letter from Mr. Dilley apologizes for the delay because he was on jury duty. Signed by Mr. Dilley. 3) Clipping from a catalog, Goodspeeds's #565, 10-14-1970. Listing is of four Acts of Assembly in Georgia. Printed by James Johnston. Includes a short bio of Johnston. He was a loyalist in Savannah who had to lead during the revolution but was allowed to return.

Light blue board with 1/4 cloth slightly darker blue, black lettering on front and spine, wear to extremities, thin paper with deckled page edges, title page is separated from spine 2 inches from bottom, stain on title page. 256 pp. As of July 2023 we haven't find any of this edition in the trade.
