The Fairy Queen transforms her, but she soon learns that fairies work too, painting flowers for the seasons. She is discouraged by the work and doesn't know the proper colors, and keeps getting things wrong. An impish fairy named Puck helps her get it all wrong, at last she is transformed back to being a mortal girl. Published without a title page as such; contents page is on rear endpaper. Endpaper edges at gutter are a little rough, but probably an original fault as portions go under the string unbroken. Good to VG: unmarked, solid; text paper aged. Endpapers cracked at gutters, but book is quite solid. Exterior is in archival quality clear thick mylar.
