Description:
Westport Point, MA: (Author), 1928. Author's loving recollection of an old friend and sailing buddy, spiced with a selection of his letters. Yeomans describes him as "a great smoker, reader, swearer, sailor... filled with perpetual wonder and the joy of life." We could all use friends like that! This copy is inscribed by Yeomans to a mutual friend of Spicer's and his, renowned American artist and author Clifford Ashley. A fugitive bit of New England nautical ephemera, with Worldcat showing only two libraries holding copies. Bound in plain paper wrappers. Very good condition.. 23 cm. 34, (1) pp.
