There is some chipping at the base of the spine and along edges. Top front corner is missing about 1/2", and rear top edge is missing a piece 1/2" X 2" from corner. Feature article's title is written in red ink on top of front, and there is occasional highlighting/underlining. It does not affect any other part of the book nor has it affected the dust jacket, so it is unlike a damp stain. Perhaps a manufacutring flaw?
