Full brown leather boards, black label, gilt lettering. 12mo. 282pp. A resonably early Isaiah Thomas imprint. From the library of noted American poet and author Lewis Turco. Volumes from Turco's library are easy to identify as he had a (bad) habit of both signing the pastedown and embossing the title page. It does, however, make it easy to establish provenance. Turco also practiced (the operative term) book repair/binding and perfected the repairs to this volume (new endpages, reinforced hinges, replacement of missing leaves at rear as noted). Noted flaws notwithstanding, a nice volume in hand and a very pleasing reading copy. more information
