Richardson was the author of 44 books, his best known being 'Max Brand: The Man and His Work'. J. Allen St. John was best known for his illustrations for the novels of Edgar Rice Burroughs, but he illustrated many types of works. He also taught at the Chicago Art Institute and the American Academy of Art. The condition of the book is fine except for scratches to the front cover over the title.
