A tight square copy with gift inscription in ink on verso of free endpaper. Illustrated with 32 full page drawings by Hollenbeck. Mapped endpapers are seriously geographically inaccurate, for example, showing the Missouri emptying into the Mississippi south of the meeting of the Ohio and the Mississippi.
