Spine decorated with impressed design including bands, title on leather insert. Corners of boards rubbed, some worming to lower part of front hinge, tear to t.p., otherwise a well-preserved example of a rare cookery title. Printer's details on last page given as "Stockholm, ElmŽns & Granbergs Tryckeri. (4), 248, (2) pp. A second edition was published in 1840; Uppsala University Library's online catalogue reports both editions, but does not identify the full name of the author.
