Two volumes, 17 7/8" x 13", half leather, five raised bands on gilt stamped spine, marbled paper over boards, marbled end papers, top edges gilt, Vol. I 3 pp., 75 plates, 10 of which are in color chromolithographs; Vol. II 3 pp., 95 plates, 7 of which are in color. Exterior of both volumes have leather rubbed along edges, corners, spine ends, along spine (Vol. II has spine raised bands rubbed as well); end papers of both volumes are toned and brittle with a few short tears, perimeters of interior pages are toned, very scattered light foxing, some light smudges mostly on backs of plates, but sometimes on pages and margins. Otherwise, the text is clean and unmarked, no writing or notations; binding is sound; all plates present and in very good condition, color plates excellent.
