NY: Geo. H. Doran, 1926 Sweet, readable old hard cover with various flaws. A bit cocked, back cover has large light stain, boards quite frayed and bumped. 2 gutters (place where the pages meet) early in the text have mild separation, but holding, some cheesecloth visible. All this said, text is all present and whimsical illustrations by Gross and written matter, in some kind of ethnic accent, is fascinating. Unmarked with erasure evident corner first end sheet.Front cover, illustrated, reads OK. I presume the contents first were done for newspaper publication.
