|
|
|
Gloucester: Amordian Press, 1986. A collection of articles and interviews concerning a variety of musicians, including the Violent Femmes, INXS, the Bangles, the Rolling Stones and others. The Stones article deals with, among many other things, the possibility of Jagger touring without the Stones, to which the guy who makes the band a band (that would be Richards), responds, "I'll slit his fuckin' throat." In the same article, Bono offers a great description of Richards: "You can see that all Keith's infamy and fortune don't matter much to him. When he puts on the guitar, the lines disappear from his face." More than two decades after that was written there are a lot more lines across the guy's face, but when he straps on the guitar they still don't show. A terrific article by Bill Flanagan, about a band considered by many to be the best ever. Light general wear.. Magazine. Very Good. Octavo -- from 7.75" to 9.75" Tall. more information
