1) The Science and Practice of Grassland Farming
Moore, H I

London: Thomas Nelson and Sons Ltd, 1949 Hardcover first edition in green cloth boards with rather tatty but mostly intact jacket. 166 pages including index, illustrated with black and white photos. Good overall shape, the boards are slightly blotched or fade in several areas, some wear to edges and corners, firm binding with clean internal pages. Clipped jacket is well worn, with tears and small fragments missing, chips and fraying to all edges, still largely intact. An interesting study of various grasslands in relation to their use for stock and farming. A lot of practical advice and wisdom of the times, an interesting read indeed.. First Edition. Hard Cover.
