College Station, Texas: A. and M. Press, 1950. Stiff maroon covers, stapled. Front cover appears to have had something affixed to it in the lower right corner, perhaps the school insignia. A dark spot (not so dark against the maroon cover) now, otherwise the booklet is in nice shape. This is a 75th year promotional fund-raising booklet for Texas A. and M. College (referred to as the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas). More than 30 pages, not numbered. Illustrated with drawings. Includes a typed letter from George B. Morgan (Class of 1918), president of the Association of Former Students. The booklet is dated 1950 and the letter is dated 1951. In the letter, Morgan states that George Sessions Perry has written a book about the college, titled The Story of Texas A. and M., and that each contributor to the 1951 Fund will receive a personalized copy. The booklet offers a brief history of the college, from its inception in 1876 to current day 1950. No author indicated, so not sure if this is excerpted from Perry's writing.
