Harper's Weekly, 1868. Woodblock print disbound, from the Harper's Weekly dated December 26, 1868. in very good condition. There are some chips round the edges not affecting the image, and the paper is a little aged. There is a short article on the back describing the image. "The Department of the Interior has made a sad bungle of this Indian matter; its immense patronage has introduced corruption and almost criminal negligence and thus Indian agencies as well as the Indians themselves have become demoralized." 7) Bilders Vom Rhine

Koln: Hoursch & Bechstedt. "Pictures from the Rhine" Large souvenir brochure in wraps with reproductions of paintings of the scenery along the Rhine River in Germany. The preface is in German; the descriptions of the paintings are in French, German and English. Undated, but probably from around 1890. The edges of the cover are a little worn, but the contents are very good. A corner is torn from the front end paper and the paper is a little aged, but there are no marks and the binding is solid. The Death of Minnehaha from Longfellow's "Hiawatha" Paper:Print:Color A very good color print, not matted. The image is approximatly six and one half by eight and one half inches. Dated 1914 in a gift inscription in ink on the back, but I believe from around 1890, on good quality paper a little aged. Based on a painting by William L.
