Postcard: Mission Auto Court
Chicago: Curt Teich Postcard: Mission Auto Court. Linen finish, bright colors, circa mid-1930s, Curt Teich pub., "Photograph taken from plane at an elevation of 5,000 feet." Very good condition with slight fading at edges, very slight rubs at edges. An aerial view that appears to have been enhanced with drawing (some cars almost float and are much out of perspective) and color overprinting (the reds landed on roofs, in flower beds, and some appears rather randomly positioned - or perhaps got spattered in the printing). All of this gives the card a certain naive charm. A charming piece of early automotive history. PC 2770. Very Good Condition. 3.5 x 5.5 Inches. Postcard. more information
