It also includes a page of "clothes that horses wear" and includes information on the saddle, bridle, and so forth. Unpaginated, the book and illustrations are very bright. The top and bottom of the front cover are very lightly chipped in spots, the top corner more so. A great book for a youngster who likes horses! 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. more information

The jealous models is envious that Barbie appears on the cover of the magazine. The corners have light wear, and the front top and bottom edges are lightly worn. The pages are fully illustrated in bright colors, and the lower right corner is missing on all of them as well. The title page has a small tear that is repaired. the last page has a 1 1/2" tear from the top down. No marks or other tears. Edition "A" This is a fascinating book that shows, by comparison to common objects (man, for instance) just how enormous some of these creatures are. It tells how they grow, develop, and survive in their native waters. The differences between fish and sea mammals are shown, both through their skeletal structure and their fins. The blow holes of the mammals are described and explained (very interesting!) in words and illustrations. 54 pages, with an index. The pages are somewhat yellowed at the edges; several of the pages near the middle to the back have a tear at the bottom near the spine. The last page has a 1" tear at the bottom near the middle. The book is illustrated, some color, much of it in whale color (grey). On the binding there is minor wear on three of the corners, and minor wear at both ends of the spine. The last page is of an owl, and is a goodnight page. Someone put a small blue crayon-type spot on its head; this is the only mark in the book. This book, complete with music to several well-known carols, is beautifully illustrated in color and black & white. The illustrations are by Corinne Malverne, who was a successful child actor. Nineteen carols are included, many with additional verses. All of the pages are bright and clean. The front cover is well-worn on the corners with shelfwear along the top and bottom.The front cover is becoming detached at the gutter, there is some scuffing and two light vertical ink lines about 1/2" near the top. There is wear and the spine ends - 1/4" of the paper wraparound is missing at the top, and 1" is missing at the bottom. The prior owner's name is written inside the front cover. 42 pages, including an index at the end. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. more information
