The home is small and the items are large; she ends up with swans in the bathroom, bird-a-calling in the pear tree with her cat making a serious attempt to round up all feathered creatures, and then come the cow and maids-a-milking, all sorts of dancers dancing and by the end she's pooped! The individual pages are heavy paper and fully illustrated; printed in Italy. One corner of the binding has very light wear. 40 pages, no marks or tears. One of them went to get the ball and found lots of soccer balls. Picking theirs up, they went home. As he was studying all of a sudden his soccer ball broke open and a baby dinosaur popped out. By the next day he was 20 feet tall but still a baby, causing a few problems, but of course working out great in the end. The binding has no wear spots. The couple on the first floor of a three-story apartment building bought a live Christmas tree because they were moving and would plant it when they moved. Well, it kept growing, and growing, so they cut a hole in the second floor apartment, but it grew and grew and she had a great tree, but then it grew to her ceiling so those on the third floor ended up with the top of the tree in their apartment, which was nice because they couldn't afford a tree. They all became friends and helped bring the tree to the new house. The binding has wear to the two outside corners, front and back. The cover is coming up a big on the right side. Well illustrated, no marks or tears on the pages, but the lower right corner on some of them is turned up. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. more information

Little Cottontail learns everything well because just then, he spies a fox and off they run, sending the fox right into a brier patch! Fully illustrated in color. The pictorial front has a diagonal crease along the vertical board, and a few bumps. There is wear at the corners and very light shelfwear at the top and bottom. New York: Simon and Schuster, 1946. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. Gergely, Tibor. G" A story of a taxi and driver that were the fastest, and went around all sorts of hazards with no trouble. The boards are somewhat scuffed but the illustration on front is bright. The prior owner colored the page edges on the bottom greenish, and the last page and inside back cover with some blue crayon. Aside from these blemishes all of the pages are fine, no mark or tears. The binding is tight, the cover is a bit wrinkled and the corners are worn. On the back board at the spine top there is a part of the decorative paper missing with the board showing through. All of the inside illustrations are beautiful, and mostly in color.
