Blue tinted photograph of Hemingway is on the back of the dust jacket. Lee Samuels is printed in lower right corner of back of dust jacket. $3.00 price is on the dust jacket. Powder blue covers with silver titles on the spine. 140 pages. The dust jacket was covered with mylar so it is bright and unfaded. It has some waves but no creases. The book cover have fading vertically along the front edge and going in about 1/3 of the board. This must have come from moisture but no sign of water staining inside the covers or on the pages making it a mystery as to what actually caused the fading. The rest of the cover is in very good condition. The book was originally in the Vetarans Administration Hospital Library Wilmington, Delaware. The are small stamps to that effect on the top and bottom outside page edges. There is also the impressed seal of the VA hospital on the title page and a stamp, "Library VA Hospital Wilmington, Delaware" Handwritten across that stamp is cancelled. There was a card pocket on the end page but it is unglued and laying in the book. Opposite it is a Date Due grid that does not have entries.
