London, England: Stud & Stable Ltd., 1969. The book incorporates all the veterinary articles that had appeared in "Stud & Stable" between 1962 and 1969. Containing 53 articles subdivided into seven main sections, it provides a comprehensive reference book to almost all the veterinary and stud management problems with which breeders and racehorse owners are likely be confronted. Condition -- Most pages are lumpy at the top of the binding, but there are no creases or tears from use. The previous owner's name has been scribbled out with black ink on the front and rear pastedowns and endpapers and this left a pink spot on the adjoining pages. The rest of the pages are unmarked. A staple is attached to the front endpaper. The binding is cracked between one 2-page spread at the middle of the book, but the binding remains dependable and no pages are loose. The jacket has worn edges and corners that have several tiny tears. Also, it has gray smudges and general shelf-wear. The green cloth boards are in very nice condition and the silver lettering on the front and spine is intact.. Hardcover. Good/Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. more information
