"War in the Blood" was dedicated to Prieto, and on the dedication page is his warm inscription, dated 1957, to Den Hartog, world renowned engineer, as were, at one time, the author, and the cellist. Beneath the inscription is an original photograph, most probably of two of the three principals, though I cannot identify which ones.
