2) Masonry in Texas, Background, History and Influence to 1846

Waco, TX: Grand Lodge of Texas, 1958. Introduction by Walter Prescott Webb. 540 pp. Pale blue cloth boards with bright gilt design and print. Tight and bright copy. Previous owner's gift notation and small label residue on front pasted down paper. Front and bottom page ends each have a tiny spot - else edges are clean, as is interior. Dust jacket is blue and gold, the gold being somewhat dulled through the years, and the blue showing rubbing, front and spine. Edges have creasing, substantially so on rear top edge which also has some tearing. Rear flap fold has been affected by that large creasing and tearing and has 1/2" chip missing. Lower portion has been tape repaired. Front top edge has a creased spot with a 1/4" closed tear. Flap folds are rubbed. Now in protective cover.. 2nd Edition. Half-Leather. A little soiling on page ends which are slightly yellowed. Dust jacket has chipping along spine extremes and edges. Closed tear (2 1/2 in.) on rear hinge at base and then 1/2" across into spine. Front top edge has 1/2" tear near corner. Corners have shipping and flaps have creasing and wear. Base of rear cover has creasing and a 1/2" closed tear.
