I think it is time he should be back if he intends to go to the party for it is about ten now.Have you heard from Aunt Fanny recently.Morning has passed. It was an elegant party.This morning I went to church at the Capitol, got there just in time for the Benediction.How has Bainbridge flourished. We accepted your offer of $2000." They received five cases of cloth from Philadelphia which they are placing at 8.2 cents. The Butterworth arrived, and they will be glad to sell them. Grandfather is helpless. Edward calls for Sophronia every day. "The watch and books" are hers. Mr. Milton said he'd go from Boston to Cambridge and deliver a letter, saving postage. Mary has a violent pain in her side. Mother wants badly for Sophronia to come home. Mary reads and knits, but the pain in her side is agony, etc. "If you wish to see my work, look at Mr. M's shirt bosom. I did up his linin [sic] for his journey.". manuscripts edition. ".If you get the money I wish you to pay it to Bugby.Tell EJB thank him for the lock of hair.I work from 5 in the morning till 7 at night [in the Lowell mills?] I had to beg hard to get out to write this. If you can, you may send me a pare [sic] of hose by Mrs. E. if providence permits.I have to write sitting on a trunk with a bandbox in my lap for a table, so if I write a better lawyer's hand than common you need not wonder."
