Presumed first as no additional printings are noted. Patterned end papers, tissue protected frontis of Brock, 5 other illustrations one of which is a plate, one other a full page engraving and the remainder are small and set into text. Minor rubbing on the corners and spine crown/heel with some wear to the spine ends also. White stain on front (1/2" long) with a second much smaller stain on the front joint near top. The text block is tight and the interior is clean with some marginal age browning. A clear and removable archival cover has been fitted. . more information
