This book is a 19th century study of the works of literary critic, Ben Jonson, who was a contemporary of William Shakespeare, when the latter was in the zenith of his career. The author was himself a respected literary critic of his day and is today still considered indispensable to a review of English literature. Navy cloth, gold gilt trim and lettering, uncut edges, 181 pages. The book is in very good condition, save small bump to the outer edge of the back cover.
