There is also a loose insert reproducing an attractive Bartholemew half-inch contour map of 1947. Introductory chapters include one on the history of recording in the area; despite its remoteness it has attracted many visiting botanists, and is now one of the most thoroughly researched areas of Highland Scotland. more information
