In 1991 Eddie Bauer Co. commissioned Lowry-James Rare Prints to produce an exclusive line of fish prints inspired by the Victorian classic "British Freshwater Fishes" by The Reverend William Houghton. They were originally sold through the Eddie Bauer HOME catalogue. These prints are now available exclusively through Lowry-James. From Rev. Wm Houghton's British Fresh Water Fishes. Colored wood engravings by AF Lydon. Originally published in London c. 1879 A Shropshire clergyman, the Reverend Houghton appealed to the fly-fisherman with these charming engravings of landed freshwater salmon and trout. Each image was accompanied by steel engraved vignette of the lake or stream in which the fish was caught. more information
