The first being "The Life of Washington" by Leonard Henley - the second is "The Life of Gen'l Francis Marion" by Brigadeir-General P. Horry of Marion's brigrade and M. L. Weems. Both are wonderful biographies and revolutionary war histories. Published by John W. Lovell Co., no date shown anywhere. The binding is typical of late 1800s or very early 1900s. Hardback - Brown decorated cloth with gilt title label on front and spine. 311 pages. Floral patterned endpapers. CONDITION: Excellent reading copy as all pages are present, clean and readable. They are a little aged around the edges with some scattered foxing mostly in margin areas. No writing and only a couple small edge tears, not affecting text. Previous owner's bookplate on front pastedown. Cover is clean with scuffing and rubbing. Edges have wear and chipping with wear-through to corners.
