Gold foil on spine is chipped and worn and about 1/3 is missing. Cover is bright but scuffed with edge wear and chipping. Pages are bright and clean with no writing. There are remains of a postage stamp on top of half-title page. A couple of pages have a small bottom edge tear but text and drawings are not affected. One page has a 1" hole that does affect one illustration. Rest of illustrations are bright and beautiful. Child's name is written in pencil inside front cover. Binding is tight and all pages secure. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. more information
