Wharton abetted, in pictures, by Albert Olson. "Rules of poker by the banker, recipes by many friends, toasts from everwhere, mixed drinks by the bar-fan." All accompanied by comic illustrations of turn-of-the-century cops, babes, and ethnics. Inscribed on title page "To Mr. Elton Power With Compliments of The Publishers". Pages are clean (no writing, underlining, or highlighting). Binding is fairly tight considering its age, slighly cracked in a few places but pages are secure. Title to spine is rubbing off and only slightly visible. Some rubbing to head/heel of spine and corners. Pastedown to front board has some finger soiling. This is not a remainder or ex-library.
