Boston: Tudor Press, [ca.1910]. First Edition. Oblong 4to, original maroon cloth, gold stamped small folio, gilt.( some light edgewear). Unpaginated, 115 photographs, most full-page, 85pp. text, one in-text map showing the route of the railroad. Special numbered deluxe issue for presentation, with the recipient's name in autograph, with compliments of the railroad. This unusual and most remarkable album amounts to what can honestly be described as an extensive visual history of the development of the Laramie, Hahns Peak and Pacific Railway System, with much material on the region through which it passed, including photographs of people, their industries, the immense natural resources available to them, the construction of dams and canals, farming, mining, ranching, lumbering, etc. The text and captions emphasize the prospects for further development, with much important information, both textual and visual, on Laramie, Steamboat Springs, Hayden, Vernal, Meeker, etc. Not in Graff or Howes.
