Voice Of An Angel: My Life So Far ("New Copy!!!" - Stated First Edition/Stated First Print)
With its heroine just 15 years old at the time of its publication, the accent is on the qualifying rider to soprano singer Charlotte Church's memoir, VOICE OF AN ANGEL: MY LIFE (SO FAR). Since her discovery in 1998 at age 13 on a British TV breakfast show, Church had been presented to the Pope and appeared with famed Italian tenor Placido Domingo, as well as having made numerous TV and concert appearances around the globe. In addition, her first CD, 1999's VOICE OF AN ANGEL, made her the youngest performer to debut on the Billboard music chart. But her informative retelling of her story, which takes the form of an extended journal, is as modest and homespun as her Welsh roots. Her warm, loving family (including her ex-rocker grandfather) features heavily throughout, and though she mentions some of the pitfalls of celebrity, like a comment to the press about stealing the White House silver that that got her branded as a thief for a couple of days, it's obvious that, at this stage of her life at least, Church was a remarkably well-adjusted teenage phenomenon.
