The solander box also contains a Prospectus and ÔAn updateÕ on the publication which has a colour photograph of the various aspects of the book. From the Prospectus: 'For the first section, The Text of ShelleyÕs Death, Alan Halsey has developed a technique that brilliantly combines the poetic collage with the scholarly Variorum to enable all the voices with all their different stories to speak in a resoundingly symphonic' 'squabbling of the phantasms.' The second section, Reversions on the Text provides a comprehensive commentary and the third section, Towards an Index of ShelleyÕs Death, takes the form of a wholly new kind of 'found poem'. This strikingly original work, at once lyrical scholarly and philosophical, gives new meaning to Shelley's own words: "That there is a true solution of the riddle and that in our present state that solution is unattainable by us" .'
