Payment in full for each order placed by individuals must be received and cleared before items will ship. Specific Object will accept institutional orders to Colleges, Libraries, Museums and Universities by Purchase Order and will ship without prior payment to known clients. Orders paid by credit card, money order or cash will be shipped upon receipt; orders paid by check will ship once your check clears. Books awaiting payment will be held for no more than ten days. All items shipped to customers in New York State address are subject to 8.875% sales tax unless a tax- exempt or resale certificate is provided. Specific Object reserves the right to refuse to fulfill orders should credit card information be suspected to be fraudulent or if credit card information can not be substantiated by our credit card processing company.
