About the author

The Authors: Huub Angenent received his doctorate from the University of Leiden in the Netherlands. He subsequently taught at the University of Leiden and the University of Groningen. Dr. Angenent has written many articles in professional journals and is the author of several books, most recently, "Child Rearing, Personality Development, and Deviant Behavior," in cooperation with Dr. de Man.
Anton de Man is Professor of Psychology and Chair of the Department at Bishop's University, Canada. He received his doctorate from the University of Leiden, the Netherlands. Dr. de Man has written numerous articles in professional journals as well as several books.
