How do I use Cyberduck to send book photos to Biblio?

Return to what I was doing

An FTP Client we recommend is called Cyberduck, and it is available to download for free at this separate website:

Download Cyberduck

Once you have Cyberduck downloaded, make sure you also have your Biblio FTP login information handy.  To view or change your Biblio FTP login information, use the Upload Settings link in your BiblioDirect bookseller menu.  If you have any difficulty finding your FTP login, please contact and we'll be happy to help!

Open Cyberduck.  Then:

1) Click on Connect.  A separate, smaller window will drop down within the Cyberduck window.

2) At the top of that smaller window you will see a bar that says, “FTP (File Transfer Protocol)".  Click on that bar and you will see a number of sending options.  Select "FTP-SSL (Explicit AUTH TLS)" from those options and enter your FTP login details. Both the username and password fields are case sensitive.  It will look something like this:

Server: ftp.biblio.com

URL: ignore this

Username: your ftp username

Password: your ftp password

3) Click "Connect".  Once connected, you should see a window into your FTP directories at Biblio.

4) Drag the image files or your folder full of image files from your desktop to the Cyberduck screen and drop them in an empty space. The upload will automatically begin.

Another separate window will open in Cyberduck and it will show you the status of your upload.  You will see that the files/folders you are uploading seem to disappear from your FTP account once the upload is complete.

The rest should be automatic. Our system will start linking the photos you uploaded to your Biblio inventory. Within an hour or two, you should be seeing those photos appearing with your listings.

I was delighted with my order and your service. The book arrived in time for the occasion that I needed it for. I was thrilled to be able to find an out-of-print copy.
