A nice copy of this foray into classical scholarship by William Gladstone, will try to mitigate gutter problem a little when ordered. Just minor handling wear to the beveled boards. Gilt floral bands on front board, with a gilt bust of Homer centered between them. Same design on spine, with author and title in gilt. A fresh and crisp copy of this analysis of Homer and his poetry by the four-time Prime Minister of England. Includes an index; 284 pages.
