Summary
Verdi the snake just adores his bright yellow skin and lovely brown stripes, so he is horrified to discover that when he grows up, he will change into a green snake with no stripes at all. Determined to retain his yellow color, Verdi does everything he can think of to keep himself from turning green. Will he learn that changing colors doesn't mean he has to stop being himself?
