The second group, 'Priscilla' [still involving Qfwfq], is a mad and dazzling scientific dissertation on the nature of love and death. The third, despite its echoes of Borges, Kafka and the nouveau roman, does have one story, 'The Count of Monte Cristo,' which juggles these influences so skillfully as to recreate them...." -- John Ashbery
