Excellent introduction to the central themes of the 20th century liturgical movement, before the Second Vatican Council. The chapters are originally articles from The Clergy Review, published in England. Well written, clear, and concise. This book shows that liturgical renewal is not primarily a question of incidentals but of doctrine, not of aesthetics but of faith. Though the pages have yellowed with age, the book is in good condition.
