About the author

Nader Elhefnawy holds a Ph.d in Literature from the University of Miami, and a B.A. in International Relations. He has taught English at several colleges, including the University of Miami, where he was a Visiting Assistant Professor in 2007-2008. Dr. Elhefnawy has also published scholarship in both of the fields in which he holds degrees, while also reviewing and writing extensively for publications like The New York Review of Science Fiction, Strange Horizons and The Internet Review of Science Fiction. His articles have been translated into Russian and Japanese. He can be found online at his blog, Raritania.
