Volume 1 - The Road to Alexandria (ISBN- 1-55068-068-4) remains in Near Fine condition with a light crease to front cover. Volume 11 entitled The Long Road Back ( ISBN 1-55068-092-7) remains in Fine condition. These accounts of Hitler's Forces are illustrated throughout. They are described as "Tautly written and highlighted by many photographs.... paint a vivid picture of the German soldiers who fought in North Africa from Feb.1941 to May 1943. Hurriedly sent to help our Italian allies who had run into severe difficulties, the Afrika Korps' task was strategically defensive.
