Publisher's Notes

The first version of Neuropolitics was written between 1973 - 1976 when Dr. Leary was in prison. Several chapters were composed during solitary confinement. Leary explores the role of the dissedent/philosopher and offers a multitude of brilliant observations on our past, present and, especially, our future. One of his best. Updated and rewritten for the 90's.

Heidegger
by Richard F. H. Polt

It is one of the most readable and understandable books on the philosopher that we've seen. Accessible enough for beginners, yet it covers such a broad range of materials that it also will be useful to advanced scholars. Polt discusses not only the spirit of Heidegger's thought, but his background and personality. He contrasts Heidegger's views with those of other philosophers, but knowledge of these others is not presumed.
