From the publisher

Those counting on degrees in theology and religion to afford them the knowledge to break out of the status quo confines of such, must consider the scientist who at some point must examine if he has the ability to proceed as an autodidact and use what he has learned to come to issues beyond the limits of his memorized learning. "It is not all about degrees in theology and religion, it is what is beyond their status quo teachings that are largely contrived and institutionalized by the very church authority one is trying to examine." The church-based institutions do not teach what they do not know, or what undermines their claims. Those who dwell on the premise of degrees will not find this work lacking in scholarly and historical accuracies, nor will it approach the level of boredom most of them ensue. This is a refreshing look at an old subject with its "secrets and codes" being rather fascinating, revealing real historical issues that were very much suppressed and purged from the one-sided indoctrination of Christian literalism. Christianity, as we see it today, is a literalism, all orthodoxies and Protestant configurations of it, all 34,000 sects and groups of them, along with the infinite personal distortions presumed by "believers." They all function and sustain on the premise that Christianity has always been one faith, one religion, one belief, all based on literal historical events. This work truly examines many diverse issues in the effort to show the reader what has been claimed is not what it seems. The author does not tell you of ancient texts and contrary, contradictory issues; he shows them to you.
