If you are a professional, independent bookseller with a high quality inventory and an exceptional committment to your customers and are interested in becoming a bookseller on Biblio, please review the following basic expectations before proceeding:
- You must have a computer with an internet connection, and basic proficiency with using it to manage your own inventory, use the Internet, and use e-mail.
- You must be knowledgeable about books and familiar with book industry standards for cataloging, grading and shipping your inventory. Ideally you should have at least several years' experience in the trade.
- You must be committed to the highest standards of quality, ethics and service to customers.
- Your inventory should be of overall high quality in terms of selection and condition. (A good way to determine if your inventory is a good fit on Biblio is to perform a search for some of the titles you have on hand. If you do not find very many copies of those titles in similar condition on Biblio, you'll likely do well with Biblio.)
- You will be expected to ship both domestically and internationally, except where prohibited by law or in areas where there is an established high risk for fraud.
