Lavender Path Antiques & Books We are located in Harwinton, Connecticut, housed in an old schoolhouse built in 1783. We feel being in an historic building would be the perfect place to house our shop. We have been in business for appox. 20 years. We started out as an antique shop with a sideline of books. Over the years, the book collection has grown and grown to finally taking over about 80% of the floorspace and business.
Brier Island Books Caroline Norwood owns and operates Brier Island Books in Nova Scotia. I started the business in my home 11 years ago. I live in an historic, Georgian style house with six
fireplaces. I thought the house a perfect place for a collection of used and rare books. Now there are more than 10,000 books on shelves throughout the house (none in the bathrooms yet but maybe in 2009).
