Book is wonderful internally, but there is a charming gift inscription pasted on the front endpaper--somebody's grandma talking about the way to the heart being through the stomach, and continuing with "I can get most anything out of grandpa if I cook him chicken fried steak and gravy or fried shrimp, and, of course, chocolate pie".
