About the author

Steve Jones has been working with SQL Server for more than a decade, starting with v4.2 on OS/2 and enjoying the new features and capabilities of every version since. After working as a DBA and developer for a variety of companies, Steve founded SQLServerCentral.com along with Brian Knight and Andy Warren in 2001. He has been writing on computer topics for the past several years, including 4 books and about 100 articles in the area. e is also a regular contributor to Redmond magazine.
