The medallion is made of bronze plated with silver and gold and carries the image of the logo of the XXIX Olympiad. An explanatory note in the album tells the background to the creation of the mascots and their significance to the Chinese people and its culture. This album was offered for sale in the Peoples Republic of China (during the Olympics) at Yuan 5,900 (approx. £600). I can find no other copies for sale on the www at this time.
